Hi
Currently I am in the process of converting our integral garage into extra living space. We also wish to add an additional downstairs toilet in the conversion. Currently we have a downstairs toilet which the soil pipe runs from the back of the toilet into the concrete floor and out of the house. The new toilet we would like to install is just on the other side of the wall from the existing one. I would like to know if it would be within building regs for me to dig up the concrete floor and connect the new toilet to the existing toilets soil pipe?
Many thanks

Out of interest, is the subground drainage pipe clay or plastic?

The only problem i see is how you physically try to slip a tee onto an immovable (it's already buried) 110mm pipe. Will research and get back to you - saddle couplings don't seem to go this size!

Told you I'd get back to you. Think you'll have to use a double connector such as http://www.screwfix.com/prods/50730/Plumbing/Underground-Drainage/Equal-Junction-87-1-2-Double or http://www.screwfix.com/prods/22348/Plumbing/Underground-Drainage/Equal-Junction-45º-Double

You will also need a slip repair coupling http://www.bcprofiles.co.uk/undergr...ound-slip-repair-connector-110mm/prod_79.html to slide fully over the downstrem end of the exposed pipe before pulling it over the male end of the tee.

By the way, am assuming the underground drainage is 110mm here.

Don't forget to chamfer the ends of any cut pipes to prevent rubber seal getting damaged, use silicon lubricant' and fill around drainage with 10mm peashingle.

Hope this helps.
