Hi, I have a former outside toilet which I want to reinstate and
also install a sink.

I'm sure I read somewhere that I can now connect grey waste to the main soil pipework (underground) via an adapter, is this correct or do I need to still use a gully/hopper ?

Also would building control need to be informed ?

thanks for any help or advise .

WC must be directly connected to the drain, sink can be connected directly or via a gulley, whichever is preferable. As you are replacing an existing (former) WC, unless alterations to the drain are involved I dont think BCO needs to inspect.
