Connecting Sonos with Apple Time capsule

I am planning on buying a Sonos 5 unit and currently have an Apple Time Capsule providing the wifi signal in my house.

I had thought that the sonos will connect direct with the time capsule via the wifi signal but have been told that I also need to buy the sonos bridge in order to allow the sonos system to pick up the wifi signal.

anyone any ideas?

Sonos do sell these with the bridge http://www.sonos.com/shop/products/play5-bridge

Seems a very expensive bit of kit though. If you want stereo, you have to buy two of the bluggers at £350+
