I have had a conservatory built on sloping ground at rear of detached property. The eaves height at bungalow wall is 2.6m but at external corner of conservatory it is 3.1m. We have a boundary party hedge and there is a 1m clearance before the said corner hits the hedge and roughly measuring to where the branches are (from original planting) reckon is just over 2m.

My worry is if the measurement to middle of hedge comes in less than 2m, then the eaves at 3.1m are not permitted?

As the ground slopes away from the property, an I correct in measuring the conservatory eaves height from the highest ground point next to property ?

Many thanks in advance for any help.
