Hello
Just in the process of installing duct from an internal wall across the ceiling void to outside wall for a hob extractor hood. Method as follows I'm going with flexible from an under unit extractor through the cupboard then to manrose 204x60 rectangular duct up the wall to a right angle, then 3m across the ceiling void. I wish to go solid all the way. I'm converting to circular with the manrose adapter which takes me to 125mm pipe for the wall transition. My question is does this duct need bonding and how do I make sure i dont end up with loads of condensed water in the duct. Plus do the outside 125mm termination grilles slot inside a 125mm pipe or do I need connection pieces. Any method advice welcomed as once the ceiling is up I'm goosed if it's not right.

Don't know anything about the fittings etc but the way I see to avoid condensation forming in the ducting is to take it as high as you can then have a gentle slope down, well supported, towards the outlet.
