Cooker hood fitting question

Hi,

I'm looking at getting this cooker hood:

The user manual (pdf on that page above) says the height is 583mm - 1083mm.

Does this mean that the chimney part is adjustable to be between 583 and 1083mm from the ceiling?

Yes you usually have to cut the chimney to length as it is just a cover for the flexi vent pipe, which you can fit as best suited to the situation you require.
