I have NO IDEA what the movie was about nor do I care but I know as a VERY young lad I was transfixed by Fonda in this movie (and now!). I WANT ONE OF THEM EXCESSIVE MACHINES... especially if it comes with Fonda looking like this! Wooohhhh man!!

So many quotable lines from this movie but this one always makes me smile:

Honourable mention for the speech before leading the cavalry charge but the line - "If you find yourself alone, riding in green fields with the sun on your face. Do not be troubled, for you are in Elysium, and your already dead!" is a killer.
