I was quoted by a plumber to supply and fit new 15mm copper pipework throughout my flat, nicely soldered joints etc. I noticed he's run the plastic pipes and speedfits which I understand are fine to use. He said it was too tight under the floorboards to get copper in there so he had no choice.

He now wants paying as per the original quote (for copper), do you think I should be asking for a discount?

speedfit joints are more expensive than end feed copper fittings, up to yourself if you havent got the job you asked for and were quoted for

He should be asking for more count yourself lucky if he sticks to the original price.
