Hi Guys. Easy question for any of you experinced boiler techies, that I cant even find the answer on the manufaturer Web site. I have a Worcester Combi 350, yes I know an old boiler, about 11 years old now. It was serviced in Sept08. The problem is the pressure gauge dial. What is the correct reading this should be at? Over the past few weeks I have to keep topping the system up to pressure #2. Then over a week the pressure slowly drops to about 0.6 and I top up again, I haven't been waiting for the low pressure light to come on before topping up because the last time that happened it wouldn't re-ignite and cost me £80 just to get some one out to reset it. don't know whether 0.6 is acceptable or am I getting to cautious in keep topping up because of my £80 sting? Any1 know what the correct reading should be ? When the heating system kicks in the dial jumps up a little as does running the hot water, but as I say over the period of a week the dial reading just goes very low.

Try 1.5 bar then keep your eye on pressure over the next few days, to establish if the pressure is exceeding 3bar when hot, if so then the expansion vestle needs represurising, if you are loseing pressure at say 2 bar then you have a leak in the system

Thanks for the advice, so if it continues to loose pressure a week after each re-filling, would that be expensive to fix? Hope not.
