Is Macron related to Nazi sympathisers then?
I wouldn't have thought so. He was born in Amiens, (north France) which suffered very badly in WW2, from bombing from RAF, as well as German Luftwaffe, even though reconstruction hadn't been completed from the devastation it suffered in WW1.
However both his parents were born after WW2, so they weren't even alive when Germany occupied France.

His paternal Grandfather certainly lived through WW2 in the same area. And his paternal Great Grandfather lived through both wars.

Here's a link to his genealogy

Peruse it at your leisure.

incidentally my father was British
He may have been but you display immense pride in your Austrian relatives role in the gestapo and SS, and concentration camp guards.
You usually accompany your posts about them with numerous emojis to ensure the forum is aware of your pride in them and their work.

I recall when the UN made kurt
Waldheim Secretary General of the UN

turned out that he had been an officer in the SS :)

His dislike of the UK has can’t put down to that then.

What like this one

My mother an Austrian citizen came to the UK in 1956 and trained as a nurse with the NHS for 3 years

afaik she was never a member of the nazi party ? Her 2 older brothers were in the hitler youth one died years ago the other one is still alive

for them to be members of said org my grandfather would have to have been a party member ??
