I know coving tends to go around all walls, but I want to have wall to wall, ceiling to floor blinds across my patio dorrs which stretch the width of my living room.

Whats the "done thing"? Just stop end the straight runs of coving up to the blinds, or build some sort of pelmet for the run of coving across the wall?

Coving looks naff. Leave it out altogether.

how much space have you got left either side of the window ? have you enough to put some returns in?

No, right hand side of the patio door is on the wall.. which is why I was opting for wall to wall, ceiling to floor blinds...

Helpful.. thanks! think bare corners look far worse...

If the blind is full width of the wall then as you suggest sounds about right. If one end of blind only is flush to the wall then a short stub with mitred return on the other might be the best bet.
