Coving onto painted walls

Apologies if Ive missed this thread somewhere else.
Moved into new house, no wall paper on walls just paint. Unfortunately the corners between walls and ceilings are cracked quite a bit. Other than just filling the cracks is it possible to put coving up on painted walls?

Yes you can. You can either use Gyproc coving and use Artex or a similar texture finish to put it up, or you can use polystyrene coving and use Caulking to put it up with. Quite easy to do and low weight.
