There has been a roof to floor crack in the blockwork of garage wall ever since I moved in. It was noted by the surveyor, and his opinion was it had moved, and probably unlikely to move much more.

This has been years now, It's not moved, or got worse in that time.

The garage is badly built, only single block, and not much foundation. I don't want the expense of underpinning or rebuilding. The value add just wouldnt be worth it.

My plan is just to fill the crack to stop any weather ingress. I have access to both sides. Would it be worth making some metal braces and screwing these into wall as shown in sketch too.

Any recommendations for a product to fill the crack with.
TIA

Masking tape either side of crack.
Grinder.
Bolt resin.

That's one way

Thanks for the reply, so the grinder, just opens up so theres a bit more for the resin to take to right?

Would it be worth putting something like fibreglass mesh jointing tape over the top of the resin in the location of the crack too?
