The pipes for my living room radiator descend in the right hand corner and run to the left along the top of the skirting board. The right hand pipe goes to the right hand of the rad and the left hand goes to the left of the rad where the thermostatic valve is meaning that the pipes cross over each other. Can I connect ther right hand pipe to the left hand side of the rad and the left hand pipe to the right of the rad thereby eliminating the cross-over or do I have to swap the valve over as well?
Thanks in anticipation.

It shouldn't be a problem as long as the thermostatic valve is bi-directional (most are). Have a look at the valve body for little arrows, if there's one pointing each way then the valve can be fitted to the flow or return as is convenient.

TRV chatter can be really annoying...

Workshop I'm in doing my plumbing course, on one of the rads upstairs the valve has been put on the wrong side, it's louder than some may think. I actually thought it was a hammer drill in the next room or something :D

Thanks for the replies guys. Can't see any arrows but will leave it where it is and if it gets noisy will swop it over.
Once again thanks.
