I bought this to cut through copper pipe in-situ, but am also trying to cut through 15mm plastic pipe (PEX barrier pipe). It leaves a nice groove, but doesn't cut all the way through, and I seem to have to finish it off with my stanley knife. Is this right or should it cut all the way through?

Do I need to get one specifically for plastic pipes?

Thanks, i thought so. I only did 1 pipe so far and it didn't seem right.

I'll go buy one.
