Looking to add a Honeywell CM927 programmer to a Viessmann Vitodens 100 26 kW condensing gas boiler. The boiler includes a 3:1 "modulating" function. The controller offers a "cycle rate" adjustment of 3, 6, 9 or 12 cycles per hour (but no apparent "off" option). My questions are: Do these two functions conflict? Do they have the same purpose, or are they something different? Can anyone help with an explanantion? Thanks ...
