I will soon have a friends Daewoo to work on. The job is to replace all locks and ignition key because the master key is not available due to joy riders keeping it when they abandoned the car. The insurance company won't pay out because the key was left in the ignition. They also won't insure it without the master key being available, according to my friend. I am wondering if there is a company that can sort out the problem without having to change all the locks. I think the ECU will have to be changed as well, which will make this an expensive job. Anyone got any thoughts?
