how do you now that the damp signs on the c/breast an the leakin rest bend were connected?

They had smells and then spotted the damp, the husband lifted a couple of floor boards and found foul water sitting along the back wall of the house.

I dye tested the drains and the green from the SVP came through into the subfloor straight away, i CCTV’d down from the access on the stack and found 2 areas of fractures/displacements.

well then open up the floor an look or better go under if thers room an have a look at conditions. still dont now which direction joists are runnin?

Have hacked off the plaster to just above the mortar line. It's definitely the old outside wall as it has evidence of past repointing. There is no DPC,( it may be below the concrete floor level) and the concrete floor butts right up to the wall.
Any thoughts on using a chemical DPC?
