I'm so glad to see that you often copy word for word what I have posted in various threads - just saying.

What exactly do you find wrong with the flashing?

And do you know that the term benching typically applies to sand & cement work at the base of manholes?
In the building trades, sand & cement on the crown of a chimney stack is typically referred to as flaunching?
