This bathroom wall was plastered and painted last year. Its a solid brick wall and externally the brick work is poor and needs re-mortaring, damp easily passes through the wall and has ruined the plaster and paint as pictured. I assume the long term solution is to re-mortar and seal the external wall however this won't be possible any time soon, is there a short term quick fix that may be possible in the mean time? Thanks in advance.
