Hi, we moved into the 1920s house 2 years ago, we renovated the house before we moved in, but since last winter, we noticed pealing walls, and the carpet against the wall is wet, the wall is between the kitchen and dining room, the kitchen has solid floor, while the dining room has suspended wooden joists under the carpet. The aforementioned wall is wall A in the floorplan, the wall C and D also have damp issues. The other walls in the utility and kitchen are covered with units,I am unsure if there are such issues. There is a French door in the dining room, the plank is always wet in winter. Outside the dining room, there used to be a decking at the same level as the door, we replaced with the current patio, the patio is also wet at the end which is near the house. We used a dehumidifier, it collects a tank of water every day. I am unsure if there is possible leak or some DPC failure?
