ive just had a new boiler and timer / thermostat fitted but even though i have set up the timer i still find the heating coming on outwith the timed settings as if it is on constantly, i thought it was to do with the temp setting on the thermostat but even though i am turning it down to 17 degrees before i go to bed i am still aware of the heating coming on in the middle of the night.
The timer is a Danfoss TP5000 Si.
Is there a setting that only allows the heating to come on during a timed setting and does the thermostat bypass the timed settings if turned up high?
