hi there.

pretty new to the DIY thing and i am shortly going to tackle my bedroom.

i have a nutral coloured carpet, wooden bed ect and was going for a nutral colour wallpaper, but i have a white fitted plasticoted chipbord wardrobes with painted white wooden doors and wanted to change the colour to match the rest of the room.

what is the best paint to use and are there any techniqes to get the best out them with out falking out for a new wooden wardrobe?

Firstly give them a good wash down especially around the handles where grease can build up

I would then rub them down with very fine abrasive paper 120 + grade

Then apply a coat of dulux supergrip primer or one of the specialist primers available..using a foam radiator roller..allow a couple of days for it to cure then paint with whatever you fancy...personally id go for eggsell finish
