design work for dentist sergery

Sham, I suggest that you do a Google search for the legislation that details the minimum lux levels in workplaces, and this is a medical facitity so it will have specific Regulatiuons too.

I believe Offices are about 380 lumens/sqm at work level (Usually about 1000mm above finished floor level)

Thank's big_sparks,

I Found the legislation for lux figure's for dentistry, they are as :

Operations:
-general-----300
-mouth------8000/22000----Dental inspection luminaire required.

Treatment:
-general-------400/500
-mouth---------1000--------Examination luminaire required.

and the list goes on for x ray, etc... is the lux level's per room, i.e 400/500 per sqm or in all for room sqm?

Now still need to find suitable luminaires for each area, suppose been a medical area should the luminaires be shatter proof and dust proof with diffusers for maintenace reasons, for suspended ceiling what should i be looking for in general.

Kind Regard's
