Detecting Copper Pipes

Hi

I was in the process of screwing some floorboards down and hit a copper pipe and had a nice leak!

Is there a fairly accurate tool to detect pipes so I don't do this again :(

The only thing that's going to be that accurate (In assuming you want something more accurate than a cable & pipe detector) is a thermal imaging camera. You can hire them off the Internet

Other than that, lift the floorboards up before you screw them down and remember where the pipes are
