Detecting Copper Pipes

Hi

I was in the process of screwing some floorboards down and hit a copper pipe and had a nice leak!

Is there a fairly accurate tool to detect pipes so I don't do this again

The only thing that's going to be that accurate (In assuming you want something more accurate than a cable & pipe detector) is a thermal imaging camera. You can hire them off the Internet

Other than that, lift the floorboards up before you screw them down and remember where the pipes are

Mark the floorboards, with tape if they are exposed.
