I want to install devimat underfloor heating in my bathroom
The floor currently has two layers of vinyl covering laid by previous owners.
Can I lay the underfloor heating over this or does it have to be removed?

If it has to be removed can anyone give me any tips its a bugger to unstick!

It depends on the covering you wish to put over the devimat, Tiles and solid wood floor adhesives will struggle to bond with the vinyl due to its laquered finish and latex properties.
IMHO i would remove the vinyl, best method is a proper floor scrapper, looks like a large stanley knife blade on the end of a broom stick. For areas that wont come up easy try a blow lamp and scrapper.
