hi all
decided to tile my bathroom, the walls are not that good, so im thinking of
covering with plasterboard. if i baton the walls then i wont be able to turn the taps on for the bath, can i use the dib n dab adhesive to fix the boards to the wall and if so would this adhesive be strong enough to hold the plasterboard and the tiles to the wall as i would be tiling right up to the ceiling and i am a bit worried that the tiles would be to heavy and pull the board from the wall.
thank you

dabbing the boards, there shouldnt be any problems but fix a few screws to give yourself piece of mind.

yes the correct way to fix plasterboard is to dot and dab. plasterboard is a stronger back ground to tile to than plaster
