Did he, or didn't he. You can't tell who's lying in government these days. But someone must be.

Exactly my point, Godwasawoman, the seriousness of the crime warrants further investigation. It's not just about luck.
Now if the leader of the country is suspected of committing a crime, no matter how important, it deserves serious investigation.
If the PM can get away with crime because there are more pressing matters, while thousands of others are fined for the same offence, it makes a mockery of justice, democracy and equality.
