dimmer switch buzzing

When the dimmer switch is turned down, it buzzes loudly, when its turned up it buzzes but quieter. Any idea how to fix this problem? Thanking you in advance.

What is on the switch? A small amount of buzz is normal but if you have transformer fed lights which are not designed to be dimmed this can cause buzzing.

I havent used transformer fed lights, the buzz is minimal but noticable if you are close to it, the the darker the light, the more the buzz, but still minimal.

It's normal. Could always try a different dimmer if you think the dimmer could be faulty.
