Disabling Texecom Premier Elite for DIY

I need to remove 2 door contacts to do some DIY.

What do I need to do to stop the alarm going off when I do this?

What type of door contacts ?
Surface or flush fitted ?
Have you got the engineers code ?

What are you wanting to do ?
You can isolate via programming or you can take contact off ?

Needed to shorten the cables as I've rerouted them whilst redecorating the dining room.

I just stuck it in engineer mode and did it, didn't set the alarm off and is all working fine.
