early morning on the 9th September 2008 at 3:15am, the newly installed bridge fell into the blakewater canal.

It's Feb 2010, and the bridge is still sitting on the grass infront of my house, where it was hoisted onto, whilst the 'Engineers' scratched under their hardhats.

The local council won't rebuild the bridge as finances are 'scarce'.

The funny thing is, whilst all this moving and scratching was going on, my neighbour was talking to me, and out of the blue, an 'official' gentleman appoached us and started a spontanoeus conversation, which didn't make sense at first, talking about how the bridge was perfectly designed,...blah blah, blah... He was the bloke who designed and supervised the bridge installation a few years ago. As soon as he disappeared, the neighbour turned to me and said.....................I know him, he used to work on the buses with me.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Am I missing something? Why is there/was there a bridge to your house?

Those pictures you've posted seem somewhat different to the one in the link (which I have shown above). :?

board up the ends and fill it with dirt.. it'll make a hell of a planter for the spring...

or make it serve a purpouse and dig a ditch under it and fill with water...

Before you could get the soil in it would be full of old sofas and broken bedsteads!
