Hi everyone,

I have a single lever kitchen tap which is slowly dripping water. I have changed valves and washers in taps before to fix these type of issues but I am having a problem on how just to dismantle this particular tap.

My problem is that I cannot find a hole...gub screw.. anywhere on the tap to start to dismantle it.

Do all single lever taps have these holes? All my research online points they do. Or do some of these taps unscrew off?

I have attached photos of the tap and I'm thinking at the top just unscrews off? I have put some pressure on trying this but nothing budged.

Thanks

Ooo that's a strange one! My first though is to grip the top ring firmly with a rubber glove and see if it unscrews may well be tight due to scale. If that fails wrap the glove around the top to protect the chrome and have a go with grips.
Sneaky place they sometimes put grub screw holes is right at the back down low.

The top around the single mix lever should unscrew for access to the mixer cartridge.
If not it is access from the bottom... Look under the sink and unscrew the tap, then the ring at the base should unscrew.
