Hi all

I have a Kenwood KDW243A which I've had for about 4years. Its not used that much to be honest, and we recently have started to use it daily over the last few weeks. Last night I put it on the usual normal cycle but the dishes were not cleaned. Noticed the tablet had not dissolved and when tried again, the water was cold.

I have tried switching it off from main, but still is not heating up.

It's out of warranty of course, and a bit annoyed that its not working with so little use.

Any ideas what this could be?

Thanks in advance

New thermostats are cheap, about £5. No soldering required!

Been real busy and only just managed to get time to look at this

Checked continuity of element and seems ok, 90deg non-self reetting thermostat is dead. Didnt check other thermostat as I could get the bottom panel off enough to get to it. Just wondering if that has gone as well and what type it is
