Tablets not dissolving

Got an AEG dishwasher (8 month's old). Been using 3-in-1 tablets and until recently no problem. But now when the cycle finishes you often find the semi-dissolved tablet lying in the bottom drawer somewhere and dishes not properly clean. What's going on? Is this a water supply problem? Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance.

the most likely cause is the top wash arm holes are blocked by food debri or larger dishes are preventing the arm from turning
the tablet requires that the top washa rm sprays water onto it and breaks it up
