Do wahing machine/dish washer outlets..

Need to go after a trap (U bend) unless you're using use a self cutting waste outlet directly into the waste pipe. Otherwise, either connect to sink trap using spigot provided, or fit a standpipe.

Any appliance /sink etc must have a trap even a self cutting waste must have a trap in the waste pipe run.
Many install self cutting wastes after the trap, this is wrong.

Am I wright in thinking then they can go after the trap under the sink if they have there own u bend/Trap..??

It can cause problems with the sink draining.
Had them before where it affects the draining of the sink making it slow.

Won't the hose reach the sink waste ?

Both hoses reach the sink ok....Going to change all the pipework as we have a really bad smell from the sink..I was thinking it wes because the drain hoses for the DW and Washer were to high and not draining properly??

Are the appliances next to the sink ?
The wastes from appliances need to go to a height of around 600mm then downwards to waste.

Have you checked the overflow pipe of the sink ?

Have you a pic of the waste under sink ?

Check the sink overflow for crud also the washing machine hoses etc.
Is the smell always there ?
