Hi
I'm trying to find someone to talk to about dealing with family assets and the best way to deal with their sale in the current situation.

Does anyone know of someone to talk to?

We've tried the usual, CAB and what we really need is someone who will offer good advice on a personal basis, ideally over the phone/internet.

To the best of my knowledge there are no 'Asset Disposal Advisors' in the real world. As the executor to my late aunt's estate, I found that there was no one that I could turn to for help apart from a solicitor who wanted a good slice of the action by way of a fee. His advice, " Put the 'furnished' house up for auction and send the small effects to auction", was ignored. Instead, the house was placed on the open market, the more valuable effects in the classified ads and the bric a brac at auction. The beneficeries were more than happy with the returns. Hope this helps.
