Hello,

does your dpc on the outside need to be the same height as the inner. Below shows the inner floor height at outside ground level, then the inner dpc underneath suspended floor. I’ve heard that as long as cavity isn’t filled, damp can’t penetrate through skins. I do this as i don’t want the dpc to be 150mm above the ground inside.

I've got deja-vu with this.

And you will have a damp inner leaf.
 
How’s the damp going to come up if the dpc is slightly lower? not like it’s bridged is it?
