I’ve noticed a big draft under a fairly new composit door over the winter. I removed some interior trim that has revealed the mortar bed that the sill sits on in pieces. I can see through from the inside to out - see pictures.
What’s the best way to fix this? I was going to use a combination of mortar pointing on the outside and expanding foam in the inside under the sill.....would that work? Or would a more substantial fix be required?
