Hi, can anyone tell me if it's possible when changing an MV to just bung the F & E tank outlet and maybe the OSV as well or if i must drain down ? If i can bung , are there any good tips on what to use ? All help greatly appreciated, stix.

Yes for bungs...
but
If they dont hold you have to be able to drain the system, which is easy if you follow tips on this site.
Why not a 22mm speedfit cap on the o/vent?
Or train a small boy to bung it for you

Thanks for that. Just one more thing, if the system was sealed would i just release some pressure, swap the MV ,repressurise the system ,run the boiler ?

On sealed system make sure auto air vent caps are screwed down otherwise you could lose the vacum.
