Following advice on another thread I have decided to drain my system down so I can clean the radiators. I have never done this before so have a couple of questions:
1) Is it ok to isolate the upstairs radiators before drain down as they always get hot and don't seem to be a problem?
2) On refill is it advisable to add X100 inhibtor to prevent further problems?
3) I have a boiler buddy and aim to remove this and clean, is there anything I should be careful of whilst doing this?
4) I want to remove TRV valves on 2 of the radiators and just fit normal valves, is this easy to do?
