Hi all,

Very novice with this sort of stuff.

Would just like feedback on my fix of a drain gully on my house. Would this cement last around the gully and is there anything I should have done different?

Before and after pics added

Thanks

Depending on what all those pipes discharge, on top of that gully grid, the grid will quickly become blocked, and the gully will quite overflow.
True it does over flow quite often..will get this tidied up soon

What are those three pipes discharging? Why three, can they not be combined into one, then have that one discharge in a hole made through the grid?

Why are there two down pipes, with shoes on, apparently running side by side? Wouldn't a hopper, higher up, combining both, then a single down pipe and shoe look better, and work better?

Since we got a new kitchen so one is dishwasher, washing machine, sink and two down pipes sink and bath, apparently how it was originally when we got a new bathroom. Definitely could be refined

Obviously, work done by a clueless kitchen fitter then. No need at all for all those unsightly pipe runs.

Looks fine to be honest, just see how it goes.
