I am installing a new bathroom. Question: I know it's "preferable" to run the sink/bath waste to a new connection to a vertical soil pipe but in this case its around 5m of difficult run to the external soil stack. Is it permissable to connect to the horizontal 110mm toilet run within the room? Replies appreciated

Well it isn't banned as such, and is done a lot. Put the small pipes into the top of the big ones for obvious reasons Nb basin wastes more than 1.2m should be 40mm not 32. You may need to add air admittance valve(s) or vented trap(s) so the traps don't get "pulled".

Once again Chris much appreciated, I had thought of vented traps so its good to have it confirmed.
