Draining a patio

I'm having an extension and conservatory built and am going to put a patio around it of about 40 square metres. Because of the levels the patio will have to be a bit of a low point in the garden to stay far enough below the dpc. Is it permissible to build a connection into the house drains when the groundworks are being done and drain the patio into that?

Not legally no. Soakaway would be better, 5m from the house or fall it away from the house with a french drain at the perimeter.
