About to have my broken boiler replaced this weekend and trying to figure out how to drain the old one properly with this system to be ready for the engineer. It's an open vented thermal store.

As far as I understand this boilermate has a cylinder and 3 independent loops (boiler, central heating and hot water).

I saw a YouTube video where someone drained the boiler in a similar configuration and was relieved they didn't have to drain the tank. I'm hoping this is the case for me.

Is this correct that I just need to drain the primary boiler loop and add some inhibitor during refilling? How would I refill this if f&e tank is only directly connected to thermal store? Does the thermal store fill the loops when there is air?

Interestingly I have a connection with a relief valve between boiler flow and central heating return but I'm guessing this is just a precaution and shouldn't impact draining and filling?
