try cross bonding the pipes so when the seriously hoit water on the central heating side melts through that 3 amp fused cable and make the entire system go live.

oh should the cable be in front of the pipes then?
 
The flex shouldbe 'heat resistant' as it goes into the boiler anyway. This is rated at 85C.

Yes it will be sufficient. The minimum size you can use at present is 4mm. I always use 10mm as I am too tight to buy several different sizes of earth wire, and 10mm covers all possible applications that I need it for :rolleyes:
 
would have been better to keep it all in one thread mate
