try cross bonding the pipes so when the seriously hoit water on the central heating side melts through that 3 amp fused cable and make the entire system go live.

there is an earth cable on the mains water pipe where the stopcock is,
if i cross bond all the pipes under the boiler together will this be sufficient?
what dia cable would i use?
and should i include the discharge pipe?
is there such a thing as 'too much earth bonding'?
Yes it will be sufficient. The minimum size you can use at present is 4mm. I always use 10mm as I am too tight to buy several different sizes of earth wire, and 10mm covers all possible applications that I need it for
