draining down a wb 28cdi

I note from a lot of posts on this site that its best not to use the iso valves under this boiler to drain down the c/ h and hot water because they leak.
I need to do this 2morrow (to change a water to water hex) so what is the leak free alternative please?

sadly the iso valves can even leak if not touched when draining down.in the end its up to you if your feeling lucky.least it aint last thing on a friday job.

Just leave isos open and drain in usual way, may take slightly longer - but safer.

try the plastic drain offs on either side of the boiler. they work 50% of the time.
