draughts through my pvc

hi i have double glazing in my house pvc.

dont no how long they have been fitted but i get dreadfull drafts through 2 of them!!!

my bedroom top window opens fine but when closed there is a gap about 7mm. unless you slam it


is there any way of sorting this problem out?

sometimes the transom on a top opener flexes up a little causing the latch and keep to become misaligned.

try seeing if grabbing it with both hands and pulling downwards helps any.

Does yours have a plastic guide as in the picture, they sometime shattered or snapped off hence why you have to slam it

no mine are metal


from my kitchen into living room i have a sliding door well the drafts are that bad the door swings towards me instead of side wards when really windy!!1
