Dripping, leaking shower - Triton

Many thanks, guys. Guess it's still a cheaper and simpler option than replacing the entire shower, though. Is the assembly simple to replace?

Easy job.
You'll have to remove the mains inlet feed, unscrew the inlet/outlet assembly screws and the heat can screws.

Hi. I decided to briefly join this forum to add info to this thread, it's the second paragraph that may prove beneficial to anyone else or tradesmen that have this problem.

I have (had) a similar problem with my Triton Zante 2 shower - the internal being almost identical to that of the post operative's Opal 2 shower. Although reading he'd updated the leak location to being further up, mine had been leaking from the bottom of the Inlet Assembly that he formerly stated (point D in the above pic).

Noting some of the other members had stated that using a standard plumbers fiber washer would suffice is not the case. Within the base of the nut is actually a small O-ring, mine had small pieces of grit around it (being the filter) and had somehow come out of its seated position, so after removing the grit and re-seating said O-ring I applied a small amount of silicone grease onto the o-ring's mating face and all is once again okay, no leak.
