We have a mixer tap on our kitchen sink, which is dripping.

Plumber came and said we could remedy only by buying a whole new tap, as we don't know and it wasn't possible to work out the make, style etc. of the current tap (which he'd need to fix).

Does this sound right? It seems like it'll be an expensive drip to sort if so.

Cheers,

C

Does it have a 1/4 turn tap(s)? If so it may be difficult to know what ceramic cartridge(s) to get for it. Though without stripping it down, I certainly wouldn't condemn it out of hand.

If it isn't 1/4 turn, then it should certainly be serviceable

Pop a pic on here as someone here may be able to help with a make/type.

You never mentioned if they are 1/4 turn or screw down taps, they actually look like they could be screw down.
