All the dummy cameras I've seen are either entirely passive, or have that annoying and totally unauthentic flashing LED on. Are there any dummy cameras that feature the ring of dim red LEDs around the lens? That would create the impression that the IR is on and the camera is real. Anything cheaper than buying a real night vision camera?

You can get a real working camera for less than 7 quid by the way...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232161814093

Hook it up to a 12v power supply and run a BNC cable with a phono adapter on the end and plug it straight into the back of any TV that has a composite input (the yellow, red and white ones, or a scart, with the right adapter).

Then you can see live who is at the front door for example, all for less than 15 quid.

Gaz :)
